Gail Vida Hamburg, Founder, CEO, Imagineer, Architect of Rainworks Omnimedia LLC
Gail has worked across mass communications platforms as an author, journalist, arts & film writer, and editor; and as a publicist, academic, and museum science interpreter. A serial entrepreneur, she founded Straits Trading Company, an arts and artifacts boutique, and later Aria PR Inc, a branding and media relations firm representing artists, scientists, and visionary entrepreneurs. For a decade from 2005, she served as Director of Science Communications & Concept + Content Development for Gunther von Hagens’ Body Worlds. She developed six museum exhibition stories for the franchise, all still touring the globe today. With Rainworks, she wanted to create a triple bottomline company to produce story-driven immersive learning experiences and events that resonate with American families and schoolchildren; and “make rain” for girls literacy and clean water programs with post-sustainability profits. Gail has spoken at UNESCO at the UN about museums and museum exhibitions as agents for social change. She studied Mass Communications at North East London Polytechnic and holds an MFA in Literature and Creative Writing from Bennington College. Email
